Dubai ... An Emirate, A Capital : Where East ... Meets West

What makes the world rush to Dubai?

Dubai, though only spread over an area of 3,986 km2 in the Arabian Peninsula, is one of the most dynamic of the Emirates. The whole world focuses its attention on it. Since 1971, it is one of the seven emirates that make up the Federation of the United Arab Emirates. Dubai, along with Abu Dhabi, is its driving force. The two powerful Emirates have developed differently: Abu Dhabi, capital of the Federation, has won fame largely for its oil industry whereas Dubai's renown was built on its trading tradition.

Dubai : City of Winners

The people of Dubai are winners who combine the strength of age-old traditions with remarkable insight. The word static does not exist in Dubai. Dubai is alive forever on the move. It innovates and anticipates... Dreams and ideas quickly become reality. The impressive glass buildings that rise above the Creek in just a few months are a living symbol of Dubai's achievements.

Over One Billion People To do Business With ...

Dubai's history is tied to that deep, sheltered creek on which the Gulf's busiest city grew. Today, Dubai is the key centre between the East and the West, the international focus point of trading interests. Dubai has become a vital world centre. Thanks to its striking and state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities, Dubai has taken advantage of its strategic geographic location. At the crossroads of three continents, it is in the centre of a market that, along with the Indian subcontinents, accounts for over a billion people. Part of this market - the Arabian Gulf countries - has the highest income in the world.

So Many motivating Incentives...

Port Rashid and Jebel Ali Port rank among the largest in the world. Its airport, located near the city centre, ranks second in the world for transit passengers. All major airline companies stopover in Dubai. Emirates, the UAE airline company, already serves a large number of capitals throughout the world. Businessmen block to Dubai each year to sign contracts or, better yet, to set up plants in Jebel Ali's Free zone where they can benefit from huge tax advantages and low cost, qualified manpower.

Every week, charters bring people from all over the world for a week of high-class adventure, sports, shopping ...
